About Policy Insights
The California Budget & Policy Center’s annual conference, Policy Insights, brings together the state’s policy community to share transformative policy ideas and strategize about the pathways toward creating a more inclusive California.
The conference provides a platform to discuss and develop public policies that ensure every Californian has access to housing, food, and a robust safety net, even in the face of budget constraints. It focuses on promoting bold, community-focused policies, crafting antiracist strategies, amplifying historically underrepresented voices, and eliminating past discriminatory practices.
Through breakout workshops and plenary sessions, attendees can expect to take away actionable strategies and innovative solutions that prioritize the well-being of all Californians. The sessions will offer in-depth discussions, practical tools, and collaborative opportunities to address pressing social issues. Participants will leave equipped with new knowledge, concrete plans, and a renewed commitment to advancing equity and justice in California. Join us in this collective effort to build a more equitable and inclusive state where every individual has the opportunity to thrive. There’s something new to learn every year!
